Dimensions of flat cargo area with back seats down?

    Hey everyone --

    My 1st post. If this is the wrong forum please don't slam me!

    Seriously considering the Prius, but cannot for the life of me find any info as to the actual measurements of the cargo/storage area with the seats folded down. Can anyone here take a quick measurement and/or point me to some real numbers in feet/inches rather than cubic volume? I am a musician and need to know if my cases will fit in the Prius. Thanks in advance...

    so right after I post I find a thread with rough answers

    something like 60" x 40" - give or take a few due to wheel arches, etc

    :welcome: Welcome to PriusChat, moogplayer! I think it's a little narrower between the wheels, but your numbers are about right. Search for a topic called What have you hauled and you can get some ideas of capacity. It's huge!
