    :(We did this last night. Exactly as described. The reverse beep is gone...that's a good thing. The driver's seatbelt beep is gone...another good thing. When we unlock with one push on the fob all doors unlock...a good thing...but, we don't usually use the fob.

    What happened that we'd like to correct is three things;
    1. Being able to open the door without having to push the fob pushbutton...just walk up with the fob in your purse and grab the door handle and have all doors open.
    2. Now, if we use the fob to lock the car we can lock it with the other fob in the glovebox...not a good thing.
    3. Now we can't use the pushbutton on the door handle to lock the car...

    I disabled my reverse beep last week in my 09. I did not disable driver seat belt beep. I can still use the smart key functions of locking/unlocking with the handle.

    Good luck.

    1. You probably have the SKS turned off. There is a button labeled SKS under the steering column, it should be in the "out" position IIRC. Also see this thread to have all doors unlock when you grab one of the front door handles or hatch:
    http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-...hooting/43986-door-lock-setting-question.html

    2. Don't use fob to lock, use SKS button on door or hatch. It won't allow you to lock the fob in the car.

    3. See #1 above, sounds like SKS is off.

    I disabled the backup beeping some time ago, and enjoyed the quiet. However I got a new 12V battery and it's back. I'm not sure I want to disable it this time because I think it also disables the warning beep if you drive with the brake on. I didn't realize it since I've been good, but husband had it beep on him yesterday so still deciding.
