I have a 2001 Prius that has this annoying trait of the horn and lights going off at random times (only when car is empty and doors locked)- it would suggest it has an alarm but there is no where in the car to turn it off or on. Does anyone know of a way to disconnect this absolutely annoying "alarm" in this car? Any information will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Alarming

Because the alarm has a dedicated 'horn', the brute force approach is to disconnect that horn's wires. The other suggestions also seem sensible though.
