Display-order of iPhone contacts from Prius Navi

My transferred to the Prius, iPhone Contact list sorts and displays on the first name. I'd like to switch the order to sort and display on last name.

I can transfer easily via Bluetooth all of my iPhone 3GS' contacts to my Navi Prius. The problem for me is that the name order is reversed on the Prius, i.e Last/First loads as First/Last. Because of this, my Prius Phone Contacts' display order is sorted and listed by first name, not last.

My Honda Accord displayed in the correct order, so I was somewhat surprised to see this on the Prius.

Other than editing on the Prius the order of each last and first name, is there an easy way to switch the display order? Nothing that I saw in either the general or Navi manuals mentioned anything about this process.
