Hey guy I did this to my Pip and GENETIX said it look good and advised that I do a diy write up so first of all I'll show you what this mod is

so now that you know the what this is about and you like it here is how to do it.

step one: remove the bumper,I wont go into any details how a simple search should tell you how to remove the bumper.

step 2: find the connector that connects to the drl assembly 1.jpg
3: strip the plumbing over the wire
4: cut the red and yellow wires and join them and connect it to the relay pin 4 for the appropriate side
5: connec the other end of the end of the yellow to relay pin 3
    4.jpg
6: connect the other end of the red wire to relay pin 1

the bumper connector is the wire that connects all the wiring from the bumper to one single connector to the body it has all the wires. so so you dont have to strip all the wires from the bumper ill try to get a bigger picture

I hope you are using some crimp on connectors or at the least wire nuts with electrical tape to make your wire connections.

The way the wires are twisted together and left bare/exposed in your pictures is unacceptable and is asking for a dead short.

Also, put some large ring connectors on your ground wires that go under the bolt(s).

A bucket hit my car on the freeway, it tore off half the bumper and the electrical wiring under it. I'm thinking of programing a micro controller to this and have a cleaner setup
