I know this is a very specific question but hoping to buy some cheap wheels for winter tires but use my existing OE wheel covers. The description for Liquid Metal Atom wheels from the Discount Tire website says the wheels may not accomadate OE wheel covers.

Does anyone know for sure if this is the case?

So you have steel rims with just the plastic covers correct? If so your factory wheel covers that went on the steel wheels should fit most steel wheel replacements that you will be able to easily buy unless you're getting something specific for like baby moon hubcaps or something like that I don't know of any of the Toyota Yaris Prius wheels steel that will not accept pretty much all steel wheel covers even the ones at Walmart.

Just to be clear - I have the original OE tires and wheel covers. Wanting to purchase the Liquid Atom wheels and install snow tires on them but also put my OE plastic wheel covers on the Liquid Atom wheels as I don't care for the steelie look.

I'm just using the steely term to make certain we are talking about steel wheels not the factory 15-in alloys or any of that most all steelies are going to be stamped and bent up to take standard wheel covers which are a pretty much a standard by almost all manufactured 15-in wheel covers will almost fit on any 15-in wheel on the planet from general motors to Hyundai to a Toyota Yaris I can't speak for Atom wheels personally . But by the picture blown up standing beside a yara's wheel or a dorman wheel they look exactly the same finishing everything same amount of holes going around the perimeter all of it just need to make sure your lug nut pattern is correct which they make them all so you should have no problems. I do understand you're using the Toyota factory plastic wheel cover that goes on the Toyota styled steel wheels and you're going to put those covers on these aftermarket wheels your purchasing to put your snow tires on and I guess you're just going to let them ride without TPMS sensors and have the light on for the winter?
