Do you have a little Play on the back of the Fin on the Hatch?

    but after I get it down, I push it closed with my hand on the fin, if that is what it is called.


    I have noticed some movement/play when closing it.

    I have started trying to use the area around the Toyoto logo instead

    yeah i dont think closing it with the spoiler is a good idea because it does give a bit. I have gotten used to using the handle on the inside and just pull it down hard enough that its momentum closes it all the way

    Yeah, don't press down on the spoiler. The Toyota logo is a good area.

    Try using the license plate. It's a much larger target that the logo.

    To keep fingerprints off the back of the hatch, I use either the latch ring - the thing which sticks out the center bottom of the hatch, or the inside handle . . . THEN I use the license plate to add proper closing speed/pressure.

    Another Vote for the Toyota logo; you don't even need to push down; just push against it.

    Oh yeah didnt even think about how alot of people may be too short. I guess another alternative would be a step stool. LOL J/K
