My prius have 4 battery modules under 7.2v, doesn't start. No ready light or "click" sound of starting.
I know I have to change the modules, but i'm not sure if the gas engine should work, even with the broken modules.
The car has not been used or started for a while.

No it will not start at 200V.

You have the red triangle of death on the dash RTOD. Hybrid battery has failed.

The car will not start without a healthy hybrid battery that 240 volt dc battery powers the inverter the inverter converts that high voltage dc into high voltage 3 phase ac that it uses to spin up Motor generator 2 that is used to spin up the engine till it starts.

    Bad battery no spinning.

There's alike a million bad hybrid battery posts on this site. Lots to read.
