Does anyone know where i can get a service manual

You can buy the service manuals on CD from "therealbirdman" on ebay. Search for "Prius Hybrid Reference cd" $19.95 with free shipping. He is also putting together some Reverence DVDs with even more information.

 

Paper copies can be purchased from Toyota at notable expense. They also operate a technical info website where download privledges are $20/day.

do not know if the $20 cds are entirely legal, but if not I am among the guilty parties.

Edit - paper copies also show up on ebay.

 

I second "therealbirdman's" dvd reference manuals as well.

Or for about $50 a month you can download everything, if you have the bandwidth and time.

I did it that way. I don't know how much of it I'll use, but it's certainly easier to search through pdf files for information than through 1000+ pages of hardcopy text.
