Does the car regen brake work harder with a flashing pip?

Last night, following a good tank I was on my way to the station to refuel from the flashing pip.

I swear, when I lifted my foot off of the gas pedal completely, the car would use what seemed to b very powerful brake which the MFD indicated to be regenerating. No I had not shifted to B by accident. And no it was not my anxiety to reach the gas station.

Is it something I missed, that going low on fuel sets off a different engine supply behavior? or is it just me

Are you saying it seemed like it was in "B" mode? Regardless, I've never noticed any change in regen based on guess gauge readings, I've read nothing that describes it, and I can't think of any rationale for it.

hmm, can't say that I've experienced it and I've been in the blinking bar situation several times. I'll keep that in mind for this tank, although it'll be a while; I'm only halfway into the tank.
