My 04' trailblazer has a neat feature thatt if I leave a dome light on, a door cracked, or somehow left the headlights on (they are automatic) then after I think 5 or 10 minutes it will just turn them off.

That feature has saved me prob 5 times in the 8 years I've owned it. Just 3 weeks ago, I came home from work, on the phone, parked in the garage, got my stuff out and went inside. The next morning I walked out and found my drivers door just standing wide open. A regularr car would have leftt me with a dead battery.

Does the v have any safety cut offs like that? Its such an excellent and simple feature.

Dome lights have a 20 minute timer. Cargo and map lamps do not.

The headlights should have an auto-off function for the lower models and fully automatic headlights for the higher trim levels.
