    I'm reading a book that codifies many of the dos and don'ts that make a successful modern political party. Is anyone else familiar with this author?

    No I'm not. Will do a bit of online research; what do you know about him/his work?

    The 'what makes a successful political party' part scares me a bit. Surely the sections on corruption and cronyism would make for weighty tomes, indeed; seeing these codified must only make it worse...

    What got me interested in his work was a talk he gave at the local feed barn. THe book is a real awakening. I can't wait to get back to it.
