Door edge guard from dealership............OUCH!

I have the clear ones from Auto Zone. $5 ?On both my 08 mt. gray prius and my 2012 Silver Camry. Easy install and have an adhesive silicone inside . A warm day in the sun makes the install easier.

 

I thought the same thing! Really wanted to keep things OEM as much as possible but don't want to get ripped off! I got the clear ones from AutoZone as well and they look great!

 

You're welcome! I thought about it too but when I actually went to put mine on, the top 1/4" or so of the doors are too thick for the edge guards and the bottom inch or so really doesn't need it. In total, $8 for a little piece of mind is not too bad! ~_^

 

The dealership I purchased the car from adds it to every car that is on their lot. So I technically got mine for free.

You can see it in this photo, it's white along the front and rear fenders and doors. Color isn't an exact match but it doesn't bother me. I was planning on removing it but it's actually very useful.

 

Nice Persona! I wanna get those moldings for the wheel fenders! Had them on my Honda Accord and they helped me avoid a few nasty dings from reckless parents that allow their kids run loose in parking lots! Just can't find any white (prefer BP color match) but i'll settle for plain white but all the ones I've seen were for side of doors or are in every color but white. Any suggestions?

 

Took a closer look for you.. and already found these to match.

For the door, it's "L" shaped.

For fenders, its' "D" shaped.

My color doesn't match exactly but it looks like an off white vs pure white. G/L.
