Just installed the CoastalTech automatic door lock.

Couple of weeks ago, installed the EV mod.

    They both work flawlessly.

Instructions were clear and easy to follow.

And my lovely wife enjoyed the jelly beans.

I highly recommend these folks and their products.

I have both installed as well and I noticed something interesting:

After startup, if I turn on the headlights while still pressing the brake pedal, the doorlock activates immediately. I had this happen to me a few weeks back and today tried to recreate the event.
If the lights were on before startup, the lock behaved normally. If I release the brake before turning on the lights, the lock behaved normally. But if I startup, hold the brake and turn on the lights, the doors lock immediately.

I can only think of two causes for this:
    1) Coastal felt it safer to lock the doors immediately when it is dark out.
    2) There is a spuriuos signal being generated on the wire controlling the lock mod when the listed conditions occur.

Either way, I agree, these are great additions to an already awesome car.
