The Story:

Wife and I watched the Prius for three years. Decided to buy if the '04 covered all our objections. Looked like it did so we started shopping regional dealers on the web.

Talked to their Internet Sales guy night (10/24) before, drove 47 miles from Bellevue to meet him and drive a demo next day, our car showed up while we were on demo, undetailed, from the other dealer.

We came back from the drive, he came out and asked us if we would pay more for a heavier package (we just wanted the rear wiper), showed us the AM-7. Wife and I looked at each other, asked if we could drive THAT car, he said, "sure". Off we went in the Driftwood Pearl.

When we came back from the drive, we told him to write it up. Better then than 5 months from now.

Had a 2nd sticker for $ 1,995.00 but they waived it. We bought the Platinum Warranty Package at the same time.

In all, we spent just under $ 27K including Warranty, tax license, etc.

We never looked back.
