I have searched high and low on how to take these covers off the car; but to no avail. I have a Gen 3 Prius with blinker/DRL housed together on the front bumper. I'd like to be able to take just the covers off so I can paint them. I messed up a little last time and it's a royal pita to remove the paint while they're still attached to the car.

Any help? I don't wanna break them off. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372193215.995833.jpg

I think you have to pull off the front bumper to unmount them. If I recall correctly, its a single sealed unit and you can't just remove the lense from the housing

Fingered from my phone using Taptalk version 9 Beta

As of now, I removed (horrible looking) most of the VHT nightshades on the bottom where the DRL shines through. It was limiting the light too much IMO.

When I get the body shop to plug the holes in the back I'm gonna have them remove all of the tint paint and just do the blinker part.
