P01C1 does not exit or it is not a published code.

i think it got something to do with the MAF sensor.

    airflow and air temp
or the fact that outside air is low but the radiator temp is high.
this was also the first time the radiator fan spinned.

it happend after a grill block where i needed to take parts off becaue outside temp was raising and ICE and inverter etc etc getting to close to save temp.

If you think it has to do with MAP sensor, the code likely be P0101. You may misread the 0 with a C.

Sounds like your measurement device is reporting bogus codes. Have you disconnected the 12V battery negative terminal for a few minutes to clear ECU memory, and see whether the codes return?

None of those codes are valid Prius codes. Does your car have a real problem or was this just induced by your use of grill blocking?

    - If the latter, then just clear the codes and don't worry.
    - If your car has a real problem then you'll need a better device to retrieve the DTC.

My CAN-view reports P0131, B1100, and P01C1. Will clear and see if they return.

All Data can be frustrating to use, and some of the text is hard to read, but I could find no reference whatsoever to P01c1, nothing for B1100, or P0131. I used to have a 2004 Prius, but those codes don't seem to exist

Perhaps somebody with a subscription to Toyota Information System can help

I just logged on to my TIS and looked and it really is not a valid code. I even expanded the search to cover all Priii and nothing for that code anywhere on the toyota site.

    Software glitch on the scantool?

By the way, since I moved to New Hampshire to be with my Dad, I have this 2 year subscription to TIS that I never use except to fix my own Prius. I would be delighted to look up stuff if anyone needs!

Doh! sorry, the P01c1, and P01C1. P0000 also doesn't pop up, although that could just be the scantool saying that for whatever test it found no codes.

B1100 is the airbag code as stated earlier, P0131 is the O2 sensor, P1100 is the baro system monitor

i was getting odd error codes when one of my spark plug's ignition coils started to fail. eventually that cylinder stopped firing.. but that was about 30k miles later. i had traction control, and brake codes, along with a few other odd ones.

just a suggestion to look into....

I just got the P01C1 and P1100 on CAN-View - the car lost a lot of power (no battery contribution). I tried clearing the code with engine on but they kept coming back. I pulled over, disconnected my BMS+ and restarted - codes went away. When i got home I reconnected BMS+ and codes did not come back (yet). I've been testing out the BMS+ with just the OEM battery so maybe ECU got grumpy about the battery getting out of happy range. Battery voltage was fine though, 230V or so. The BMS+ box or possible the CAN-View got jolted going over a bump - not sure.

Note: I'm using Norm's BMS+ with the CAN-View which allows use of more than one battery.

    a ok...
only with the oem battery pack
that is not a smart thing to do
you take the oem pack down to 195 volts ( did you also have the AC on? ) and then when you want to accelerate the oem pack drops its voltage to low.
