Dvd Playback in Stock Dvd Navigation system

    I'm wondering if you can playback dvd movies at all with the stock dvd navigation system. I've heard of some other car's with this option. Some require the car to be in park to play dvd's and some systems can have that bypassed.

    Does anyone have any information about whether or not dvd movie playback is possible in a stock latest generation prius dvd navi system?

    This was talked about recently either on Prius Chat or Prius online and the result was no its not possible.

    But check Coastal Tech as they are developing something.
