ecomode and other settings...

    Can someone explain to me what is ecomode and the alternative settings. Ecomode basically mean city driving? What would I use for fwy traveling 80ish?

    Eco mode means forced gentle acceleration, coupled with modification of a/c. Perhaps ideal for 80mph cruising.
    Power mode is highly responsive acceleration, often useful for city driving.
    My view, which I know is shared by some, is that Power mode is not only a more comfortable answer for general use, but can, if used sensitively, actually improve economy.
    The intermediate mode is exactly that, neither particularly economical nor particularly satisfying.
