My wife and I are watching a recorded "Living with Ed." He has an electric truck.

We can't make out the make/model. What is it?

[IMG] A real truck? Chevy S10 would be the one that was put into production.

I didn't think the Phoenix Trucks were out yet. Did he swing a pre-release one?

Ed has been the poster boy for Phoenix. The trucks are not really in production yet, but I'm sure Ed is driving on one of the pre-production cars around.

When was the show you are watching recorded? It has been off the air for quite some time now, hasn't it?

Season one ended but we're into season two now.
The Phoenix trucks are not available yet. The site says that you can get on a wait list if your in California (and patient).

We had Phoenix Motorcars out to our OC PRius group this spring- most all of their first run will be sold to fleets such as universities, Edison, etc.

You guys may recall that their biggest hurdle is *depending* on $200,000 carbon credit for each truck sold. Their business case is just a we bit shakey.

I know Ed has a Toyota Rav4. That's probably what you saw.

Yep. $250,000 can build a sweet EV.
