ELM-327 with windows laptop

    Can anyone recommend one of the ELM-327 interface modules (many available from $10 to $20 from Amazon) for use with a windows laptop? The ones I have seen that come with PC software talk about needing XP or some sort of 32 bit win7. I would prefer one that connected via Bluetooth, but USB might be acceptable. I need it to run on a windows 8.1 64-bit machine

    It is for a new Prius (2015) and I assume it will work but I'm not sure.

    it should, i think windows 7 is minimum.

    Thank you. Will I need any additional software to read diagnostic info or make simple changes like turning off the reverse beep?

    Everything I have read indicates this runs on 32-bit OS only.
