Emergency Shut-downf?

    I just read the following article about Toyota's runaway car problems and the article mentions a procedure to turn off a Lexus with a power button (I assume like a Prius), which requires the button to be held down for 3 seconds to shut down the engine (& electronics).

    I haven't searched the forums or checked the manual yet, but does anyone know off-hand whether this emergency procedure applies to a Prius too or not? Please advise. Thanks!
