Like the idea of the synergy drive logo covering the hole.

Really done a nice job there man. The display you present for us is inspiring and very professional. No doubt that really gives the engine bay a finished look. Sure this idea will be referenced long into the future. Like it.

Thanks for the kind words. At first I added the chrome emblem as seen below but it seemed too flashy so later I put the carbon fiber emblem in stead but the silicone glue wouldn't hold.

As for the hood lift, you can follow it above if interested.

Thanks for the post. My concern is removing existing bracket from the left side of the inverter.
How hard and extensive is it? What's the tool required? Just doesn't like that fact that I have to remove something so close to the inverter, but then I get scared easy as far as touching these components.

I believe you have to remove only 2 screws and it should take less than 3 minutes. ;)
It comes with adapter bracket for EASY installation.

These engine covers are standard on the Lexus CT200h. Just go to ur local Lexus dealer.

I just installed my engine covers tonight and I was wondering what the metal bracket and extra push clip was for? I can't seem to figure out what they're used for.

What metal bracket? It's been some time since I installed mine. You got a pic?

I don't have a pic, but it's about 3/4" wide and 5" long and has two holes on each end. It has a 30-45 degree angle to it, too.

I used two push clips for the radiator reserve container and then there were two more left. One I used for the inverter cover but I don't know what the extra one is for nor do I have any idea what the metal bracket is for. I'm just paranoid over here, maybe I missed something?

The bracket is used for more secure of the cover. It goes on the left side of the inverter case and the hole on it will line up with the hole on the cover so that the fit with the push pin.

No, that's not it. The one I'm talking about is just a plain metal one. I really need to find mine and take a picture. I'm beginning to think maybe it has no purpose --just packaged in my order by accident.

Yup. Everything is already installed. The left over metal bracket and an extra push pin are all I have left and i don't know if they're supposed to go anywhere.
