is there any way to monitor the coolant temperature? Or have I overlooked something. I miss coolant temp and oil pressure gauges.

The only way is with an OBD-II reader, such as a Scangauge, Ultragauge, or Torque app w/bluetooth scanner.

The coolant temp in my 05 Prius averages 190.4 °F after reaching operating temp at 60+ mph using the Torque app and Bluetooth. What are others getting with SGII and the Ultragauge?

I recall 188F being a frequent Coolant temp on my Gen 2. (my v prefers 195F)

As I recall, the oil pressure sender is digital, you either have enough pressure or you don't. Since the sender knows no more, no OBDII device can know more.

The standard gauges should be the same with any scanner. That's about what my '05 Prius does according to my Ultragauge, even up to 75mph. I think I've seen 195F a few times going up hills at freeway speeds, pretty sure I've never hit 200.

Also put PriiDash software on the list for monitoring, which is what I use.

I have seen just over 94C/ 200F on a hot day while climbing a long hill with a very strong tail wind, such that the relative wind was almost zero. The a/c was also on.

Any other condition it stays close to 85C/ 185F.

I use the $30 P10 Obd2 Scanner. Various configurable displays. There is no oil pressure sensor to monitor.

Like a lot of imported gear, the instructions are minimal but it does work reliably.

If I want more temps including battery, motor generator and inverter temps along with water pump status, I plug in a bluetooth reader and monitor with the configurable "Car Scanner " IOS app. Realtime details are sometimes interesting during high ambient temperature situations.

This screenshot was taken when it was 100 f outside after an hour of highway speeds.
