    The Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) measures the amount of air entering the engine and the Engine Control Module (ECM) uses the information to determine the proper amount of fuel quantity and ignition timing. Code P0104 is set when the Powertrain Control Module detects an inconsistent voltage output from the MAF Sensor.
