I have a 2005 Prius, about 152k miles, last night the dash lit up with the red triangle and check engine light, I brought it to the auto parts store for a check and the error returned was Error P0A80 "replace hybrid battery pack" and P3015 "Battery Block 5 Becomes Weak"

I've seen this post on here before, but my question is can I still drive the car in this state or am I destined to be stuck on the side of the road soon?? I drove to work this morning which was around 40 miles without any issues other than sluggishness, but i could have imagined that...so how long can I push my luck? Really don't want to spring for a new battery!

Yes, you could get stranded on the side of the road. Only your battery knows how long before that happens. @2k1Toaster kit of new cells for $1600 delivered, assuming you are the DIY type. A link is in my signature.

You effectively get a new battery for less than one from Toyota and you can sell off any good modules from the old battery to recoup some of the expense.

If you keep driving it without fixing it, sooner or much sooner, you'll be springing for a tow truck as well as either a new battery or another car.

You missed any damage that would occur if a module explodes. ;)
