Please respond with your highest minimum you would pay for an EV only. For example if you would pay 10K, 15K or 20K but not 30K answer 20K.

Oh crap. I voted wrong. Didn't read the subtitle until after I voted.

I'm willing to pay top dollar for a PRODUCTION vehicle. The whole retrofit thing is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to love there. A fully integrated "ground-up" vehicle is the way to go in the long run. And on that account, I've already "owned" four, and have spend about $70k

Yea, the sub-title stuff should have been in the text of the poll as it totally affects the final decision. Retrofit and 50 mile range really minimizes the untility for me. Might be willing to pay $10k for this for the fun of having it, but it could never become a substitute for my primary vehicle with that kind of limitation.

Assuming it's a useful car like at least a Scion "box" and NEW plus that all amenities worked after conversion then I might be ready to pay $30.000 or more.

I think AC Propulsions ebox was a good attempt. But $55.000 + the price of an XB is just to much for me. I think the total cost has to be around 30-45k. Not 70! I still hope they are able to get enough customers so they make a cheaper model.

My real hope is for tesla motor's whitestar but that is several years down the road. Phoenix Motors is another one I hold out some hope for.
