    No! Not Porsche! They should only be making pure gasoline versions of their cars, IMO. A hybrid 911 should never exist. Volkswagen should be the company making hybrid versions of all their cars instead.

    EDIT: Learned that Porsche hybrids are actually made for performance, does not really detract from driving experience. Oops.

    I would agree with you IF Porsche's goal of making hybrids was to save gas. But my understanding is (without reading the article), their use of hybrid technology is more for the additional performance/power (like in the 918, for example).

    Exactly. Hybrids aren't just for saving at the pump.
