Hi Everyone: Yesterday I became the proud owner of a brand new 2012 Prius C, Level 3, color Habanero (bright orange). The largest and most sales Toyota-Lexus-Scion dealer in the USA, Longo Toyota, is located near me in the city of El Monte, CA. I felt like I was in a city by itself. It's so big they even have
their own Subway Restaurant. One entire floor of their storage building was entirely all Prius c's--maybe 25-30 Prius C's. Looking at wall-to-wall Prius C's was a fantastic experience--what an eyeful.

I chose the 15-inch wheels over the 16 inch because my trade-in was a P.T. Cruiser which had the same problem as the 16-inch wheel choice--difficult to turn around. So no 16-inch
wheels for me! Originally I wanted the summer rain (light blue) color, but when I saw that sharp looking new color, Habanero, which is bright orange, that was the color for me. Too many of us choose the same old conservative colors when we need to feel our inner child and express ourselves! I had the salesman
put the car out in the sunlight so I could truly see the Habanero color's effect. Many of the Prius C reports and reviews show the Habanero color as extremely dark close to red when that is not the case.

Once I eliminated the 16-inch wheels I didn't need Choice #4 anymore, so #3 was it. I never had a navigation system before. It was so neat driving home with those accurate
directions being spoken at loud. The freeway ride was very solid and smooth, and when I have further information and details and enough miles to give you a mileage report,
I will report back to you. I don't miss my 2004 Gas-Eating Premium-Using PT Cruiser!

    Congrats Mary,

I just drove home my Blue Streak 4 last night. Have only put 20+ miles on it so far but that will change when I start commuting with it on Monday. I do about 2000 miles per month so I'm excited to see the savings pile up. My last car was an Infiniti G37x that got about 23-24 mpg (premium gas as well) with winter gas and cold weather.

Congratulations! I had gotten my 2006 Prius from Longo. It was very very awesome there! Have fun with your new car. I'm picking up my package 3 this week! I too wanted a fun color, so I chose red :)

With your 2,000 miles a month, you
will indeed have a very interesting
mpg report for all of us in the next few weeks. Congrats on your new C! :cheer2:

Hi StarBrite. Nice to greet a fellow resident of L.A. County!
I saw the red "C" at Longo and you
are definitely going to have fun with that new image. As a former
Longo buyer for your 2006 Prius,
you can truly understand my amazement at experiencing Longo.
Question? Does the 2010 Prius stay or go? Prius "C" Rocks!
