Experienced the "coasting" while braking...

    Although I have had the brake adjustment done, I just had an episode of "coasting" (as I call it) when braking over an irregularity in the pavement. I can't say it ever bothered me when it occurred, even before the adjustment was done, since I had read about it. I think it was less noticeable this time. Anyone else?

    It is ABS. It will happen with all ABS equipped vehicles. Without ABS your wheels will lock.

    Yes, all the adjustment appears to do is to make the "coasting" event much shorter. Just a blip now IMHO.
