Extended battery warranty?

    My 04 Prius just hit 151k miles and the 150k battery warranty is out. I called Toyota to see how much an extended warranty was but they can't add it due to the year of the vehicle. Do you guys know and recommend any aftermarket battery warranties?

    No company is going to offer an extended guaranty on your battery I'm afraid. Put some money in a saving account weekly or monthly and you will soon have enough to cover fitting a second hand battery from a latter wreck "if" your battery gives out, and there is no knowing how long it will last. Could be years.

    Okay does anyone have any info on Troy if he's still around? Also what is the price on changing a priusnbattery? I've heard a lot of different numbers
