Extended warranty question

    Do have until the end of warranty to get the extended warranty or do I have to do it in the first year? I got an automated call from the local dealer saying my one year was nearly up and I needed to come in fi I wanted to get the extended warranty.

    You have until 3 years/36,000 miles to get the Toyota extended warranty.

    As you probably know, you can get Toyota's best extended warranty -- Platinum Care 7 years/100,000 miles -- here for $990 (current price). Lesser Toyota extended warranties (fewer or less years/miles/coverage) are also available here for less.
