I posted this in the mod section, but haven't gotten a response, sooooo...

So I read the Factory EV Button Install, but there's one thing it doesn't make clear - I'm hoping someone can help.

On the factory EV button are four metal contacts that are supposed to plug into the homemade wiring harness. My question is, from the top of the switch to the bottom, which one goes to what? I.e. which contact goes to the ECU, which goes to the ground, etc.?

    Thanks!

Two contacts are the momentary switch that engages EV. The switch has no polarity so either side could be ground, and the other side the pin.

The other 2 contacts are for the light. If it is a bulb, as I believe it is, again non-polarized. If LED, then you do have a polarity.

An ohm meter should be able to tell you which contact pair is for what.
