Factory Sirius Radio

    ? for someone who is about to buy a Prius and is a current Sirius subscriber with a mobile radio already installed in a BMW.

    1. The sales person has told me that the Sirius radio is already installed (just have to call Sirius to subscribe) Is the radio really in the cars or will I be hit with a last minute "service department" install fee?

    2. How many presets are there on the center display?

    3. Are the song titles displayed?

    I'd check the particular car you're considering very carefully. Most of the factory radios are "satellite radio ready"; the car you're considering may have the Sirius setup already installed, but I have my doubts. Check the windshield or roof for the satellite antenna. No antenna = no Sirius installed = additional charge to have installed at dealer.

    I don't have the sat radio installed, so I can't help you regarding titles/presets. Hope this helps. :)
