So I just went to the gas station to increase my tire pressure to what ive seen around here of 42/40 and was surprised to find that ALL my tires were set at 38 PSI. This is the first time ive checked my tires since buying the car a month ago.

I have a 07 touring. Anyone else find their car came with a strange tire pressure?

My tires were very low PSI and didn't match left to right.

    My factory tire pressure was:

    Front: 36L 35R
    Rear: 32L 34R

    So mine were way off....

Sometimes cars come w/tires way overinflated. I hear that some dealers do it to avoid getting flat spots on the tires.

My former 02 Nissan Maxima came w/tires inflated way over the recommended on the door sticker and over the max pressure listed on the tires.

My 07 came with the 17inch tire upgrade.
They were supposed to be 35psi all around, when I went to check they were 30 psi all around.
