failed battery three months out of warranty ...

    My friends 2015 had the traction battery fail three months out of warranty. Has anyone ever had any luck getting Toyota to extend even partial warranty coverage in a similar instance?

    Even better ... we are on Guam, and the Dealer is out of batteries, says they don't expect any stock for two months, Sheesh. Toying with the idea of just shipping in an aftermarket battery.
