    OK, the league is set up in Yahoo.

    Go to Yahoo Fantasy Football (in Yahoo Sports, see the "Fantasy" tab).

    Click the blue link "join a league" under Football '06. (It's a box on the right. Do NOT click the Yahoo Plus leagues with the pretty yellow buttons...)

    Click the "Join Custom" button. Enter the league information below:

    It's free! Any football fans can join. It's a 12 team league, with team defenses (not individual defense players).

    OK, we have 12 spots, 2 filled so far.

    I know there have been problems getting into PC these days, but come one come all. A little friendly football game!

    The draft is Tuesday, so we havea couple days...

    I will check to see if it can be changed. You can pre-rank your players, and it will plug in the best available.

    we have 4 players now. If we don't get at least 8 total, I'll probably just punt.

    I understand if you cancel. I've never played in a fantasy league and guess my heart won't be too broken if we don't have adequate participation and can't do it...I think they're planning on having football season next year too!

    I preset my drafting positions already in case I miss it.
    It is a lot of fun as it makes you get interested in other teams as well as your favorite teams. I've done it for a few years. It's funny in that you may know more about every player than everyone else, but the draft just doesn't seems to go your way, or your chosen players all fall on their faces when you need them not to, or your opponent for the weeks players all go off the hook and you lose with a great score anyways. You just never know, like a box of chocolattes.

    The most people I could get was 6 total, not enough for a league.

    If there is still enough interest, I can stills et up another league, with a draft tiem and date more favorable (maybe Friday).

    We could also do a suicide pick league...

    Simple. Pick a winner of an NFL game each week. Trick is, you can't use the same team more than once. You just try to be the last one standing.



    If there appears to be more interest in the fantasy football league, I'll put another one up. It looks as though we have 4 in for sure, and a couple interested...

    If not this year, next year for sure.

    Is this still going on? I just saw the thread, and now I am getting error message saying

    This league is not registered in this game. (Error #272)

    I guess I missed the window....

    PM me if you set up another, and I'll be watching this thread as well....
