faster voice command

    Hello,

    I did not bother to look at the navigation manual yet, but when I use the voice command, the prompter women voice repeat too much before we can answer. such as:

    "2451 , is it correct

    if not, is it one of the numbers below? if not

    say go back"

    the voice command does not recognize my numbers;
    when I say 24, it understood "04"
    when I say 2451, it understood "04451"

    so I went back and forth 5 times, I already arrived at my destination.

    my questions is there any voice recognition calibration ? so it will
    recognize my voice better

    and are there any way to speed up the voice prompter, instead of waiting for her to repeat the options and wait for the beep before answering.

    You can push the voice command button while she is enumerating commands and it will immediately switch to listening mode.

    cool - I've had my Prius for 3 hours now and already answered a tech question.

    1. Click on SETUP
    2. Then VOICE
    3. "Voice Recognition Guidance: OFF"

    That speeds things up, also what the people mentioned above...you can cut off the waiting part by just hitting the voice button again. ;)

    THANks a lot! I will read it too now..

    But i guess my accent is too much, even i speak individual digits,
    it does not get it right.
