Here are some of my favorite sounds to enjoy while burning a little incense in the "vehicle of change."

1.) Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young - Ohio
2.) The Grateful Dead - Truckin'
3.) Janis Joplin - San Francisco Bay Blues (love to puff on some lettuce to this one)
4.) Bob Dylan - The Times They Are A-Changin'
    5.) John Lennon - Imagine

Well, let me think. I am music lover with a very eclectic taste. I hear anything from classic to hard rock. My Prius is like a discotheque. :):):)

I have 10,000 songs in my iPod, most of which came from importing from my own CD collections. I have Insignia HD radio for better radio quality and for those moments where I know one of my favorite radio stations is playing what I want to hear. I have satellite radio. The satellite is for the variety, especially those less polular stations that play surprisingly good sounds. My CD charger is always loaded full and I change the CDs every week or so. The CDs are for the ultimate quality sound.

So it is very hard for me to name specific tunes… :D:D:D

Like Indy said, I listen to just about anything.

However, my "go-to" music for driving is typically from artists such as:

    - The Nadas
    - U2
    - Dire Straits
    - REO Speedwagon

Anything Stevie Ray Vaughn or Bonnie Raitt or The Byrds, CSNY, Buddy Guy, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Susan Tedeschi singing "Friar's Point", Iris Dement singing "When My Morning Comes Around", Howlin Wolf singing "Smokestack Lightning". All on my Zune plugged into the 'AUX' port. 61 years old and I've discovered MP3 players! Life is good!!!

With the standard stereo, satalite radio, an mp3 homemade cd, an audio import jack, and my LG Musiq with an FM Transmitter inside, the possibilities are endless. I am an eighties junky myself having graduated in '87. What I am finding out in my G3 Prius is instrumentals, like Watercolors on XM, Jazz is really good too and also symphony.

Maybe it's just me. The eighties was a long long time ago!!

If it's a long ride, it's pretty much the same playlist as flying across the country.
    1. IQ, Subterranea, 2 CD's start to finish.
    2. Yes, Close to the Edge.
    3. ELP, Brain Salad Surgery
    4. IQ, Ever
    5. Pendragon, Masquerade Overture
    6. Iron Maiden, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.

That's about 6 hours of music that will get me anywhere I want to go.
