After nearly a month of trying to sell or trade my SUV, I finally found a deal and I'm now the owner of a 2007 Touring package #3. It has 112K miles, but is pretty clean and drives wonderfully. I've attached a couple of dealer images. I ended up going from Columbus to the Cleveland area to get one, but I'm thrilled that I got a Touring model.

So far, I've only driven it for the test drive and the ~150 miles home, but I've got several questions. I'll do some digging here and in the owner's manual and post as needed if I don't find what I'm looking for.

Happy to finally have the search over and looking forward to learning all about it.

Congrats on the purchase. Are you sure that it is a touring? The spoiler doesn't look any different from the spoiler on our Prius Package #2 that is non touring. Also, does your car have the fog lamps on the front? Can't see them in the pictures you posted.

Sorry to hear about the headlight thing. Like Dogfriend said, it is probably the bulb. If it was me, I would order two of the bulbs from Amazon and change both of them.

Take a look at this information that is posted here on PC.

It has fogs, the wheels and the spoiler looks longer to me. It is hard to see in pictures.

It's got a few nicks and dings, mostly on the hood. The interior has a bit of wear, but it's very good for 112K miles.

Just about 3 years ago, I bought a Prius 3 years older than yours, with similar mileage (mine was 105K). So we started at the same "position", and probably my experience could help you a little bit.

My 2004 will hit 200K miles next month. During this period, I only have one problem on Prius: It starts to burn oil at 150K miles, and now I have to add 1qt/700mi using thick oil such as 10W40. Other than that, nothing needs to worry. Everything is still original, such as brake, struts and shocks, HV battery. Total maintenance cost is less than $1500 including tire, spark plug, oil/filter change, 12V battery... That's like $1.5/100 mi, or roughly 20% of gas cost. I can't find any other cars that are more reliable and cost effective on the market.

    So, Congratulations!

Keep in mind, you can get a used engine for next to nothing.
