Welp, after a long decision making process comprised of endless discussion, we decided on a car. After waiting for 5 weeks, she just arrived last Wednesday! It is a 2005 Toyota Prius. The Prius won out over contenders such as the Echo, Mazda3, Civic, Corolla, C230 coupe, A3 & a Ferrari F430 (just kidding!). Yes, the license plate # would look better on a Benz....
What an amazing machine! Averaging 5.3L/100km...no idea what that converts to in MPG....

Pics taken at my grandparent's house. The MR2 belongs to my aunt.

She had 5km when we picked her up...I took this pic after we got home.

Oh man, what am I doing wrong? That house in the bottom photos yours, senna? It's beautiful! I can't even imagine owning something like that. Life as a teacher precludes some stuff, I guess...

As for the new car, congrats and enjoy!

    Here's some points for ya!

    Cheers,

    Wow! Niceee

haha.. AMG... stole that one from a Benz dealer (saw an ML350 with that). At least it wasn't KEL.

Edit: Wait wait wait, there's an F430 in Vancouver? already? That pic was in Yaletown wasn't it? Outside the MINI showroom

    Thanks for the comments, everyone!

Tideland: Hehe...the MB dealer on Broadway has hoarded the lion's share of the 'AMG' plates. I know because I test drove an E55 a few weeks ago, and all of their demo cars had them. What's KEL?

That F430 was parked in front of Glowbal, one block down from the MINI dealer, so you're close! Hopefully, I will have one parked next to the ES300 & Prius in my garage soon! :p Yes, there are 2 or 3 F430 in Vancouver. There are also 3 of these in Vancouver as of now:

...and of course, these are a dime a dozen in Vancouver...

Yes, that's my car slinking off to the right!

This is last summer. I parked my car to go get an iced coffee at Fourbucks, er, I mean Starbucks and came out to find a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing coupe parked next to me. It was driven by a classy older lady. After I picked my jaw up off the pavement, I started chatting with her, and she was really cool. Ended up standing there talking for about 15 minutes, when an Aston Martin driver decides to park on my left. Needless to say, all eyes were on the 300SL! Absolutely gorgeous piece of automotive art. I'd sell my parents into slavery for one in such good condition!
