Hello, my fellow Prime friends. Do any of you have Firestone All Season touring tires? What is your opinion? I noticed in Consumer Reports they have a 5 out of 5 for low rolling resistance. I also checked on the Michelin Defenders and they have a good rating (3 out of 5) for LRR. I would be inclined to go with Michelins for the longer treadwear, but Firestone's rating for LRR gave me pause.to re-consider. I know there are other considerations when buying tires..

How many miles per year do you guess you will be driving ?

If it is not a LOT, then getting tires with a long tread wear life may not be a good thing.

That might lead you to leave them on the car longer than you should.
Tread wear is not the only indicator that it's time to change.
TIME also needs to be considered.
I don't like to keep mine on more than 5 years.
