First car wash, what a "beep"-ing car!!!

Hello all, first real post.

I just washed our new Prius opt. pack 3 car for the first time ever, with my remote key in my pocket. Every time I hosed off the car anywhere near the door handles, the car would beep at me! Pretty weird. Beep, beep! Like it liked the water,, or,, maybe its like a cat, and it does NOT like getting wet! I thought maybe I should take the "key" out of my pocket, and set it far enough away from the car so it wouldn't be a beeping at me, but I was rushing around trying to keep the sun from spotting it, so i just kept letting it beep away when ever it got tickled with the water!

Any one else experience this? Is this normal? Weird beeping car! Tomorrow it gets is first clay bar & wax job. I wonder if it will purr like a kitten for that?

Love the car so far though!
