Peugeot sent me an advert of their new cars. I had to take a double look and think for a moment when I looked at this one

Oooh a fun choice. How'd you hear of that car?

I doubt it would ever sell in America, not just because you don't get Peugeot any longer, nor would your average American accept Peugeot's quality control (or possible lack of). It would have to be Americanised and that would mean an automatic version, softer suspension, a bigger engine because bigger equals more power; without realising the fun gained from eeking out more power from a smaller engine. The 208 Gti has a 1.6 litre turbo engine giving 197 bhp.

I think the Canadians would 'get it' even though they won't be getting it. Shame. It's more akin to the old Golf GTI from the mid 1980's.

wow, you could drive that car in forward or reverse and it wouldn't matter. I wonder if it could go back in time.

I'm a car nut, and I love hot hatches. The French make some good ones, along with the Renaultsport Clio.

Ford jumped on the bandwagon here with the Fiesta ST and Focus ST. I'm particularly fond of the Fiesta.

I find it interesting that people thing the RCZ is funny looking, yet they drive a Prius.

    My Prius isn't funny looking...

And you can tell immediately what side of my car is the front end without looking to see the color of the lenses... teh car in the OP = not so much for some that may be colorblind...
