Footboard lights!! I need to turn them off without turning off all the interior lights!

    If I go to apps and turn them off all of the interior lights are off... if I put them on a timer my footboard lights stay on all the time! They are completely annoying and an issue since I have night driving problems anyway! Help!!

    They are so dim I didn't realise they were still illuminated when driving until the other day. I though they went off when selecting gear and not just dim.

    I think CoolPrius answer of duct tape is the best bet, nice and simple.
