I have a Yakima system for my 2005. While I haven't ever put skis or snowboards on it, I've put 4 bikes on at one time (3x Viper + 1x Raptor) with no issues, as well as various combinations of ladders, lumber, etc.

Does kill gas milage, though. And no fairing, so quite a bit of wind noise (adding a fairing really dropped the noise on my previous car, a 1995 Subaru Legacy L sedan). No idea what the fairing does for milage; I'm sure that you're best off leaving the rack off the car until you need it.
