    Hmm...I wonder if the bad FE can arise from new hybrid owners who don't know how to drive in a manner that would maximize FE? I know there is a fellow Prius owner here that traded to a Cmax that reported good FE.

    There's this radio commercial for a local dealer that claims the Cmax gets better FE than a Prius. They obviously meant the Prius V, but it's easy for those not familiar with the Prius line to misinterpret that as the Prius liftback and it's technically false advertisement.
