It will be interesting to see real world MPGs from the Ford C-Max.

Been reading about Prius V's here: Prius v Fuel Economy | PriusChat with comparison to EPA numbers.

I really like these spots. The "Holiday Inn" guy isn't as good as Joe Leisure (Joe Izuzu & the Phone Book Guy) but probably the best around now.
I'd like to see the Marketing Depts. of Ford & Toyota get together to make The Hybrid Games a reality. Since that probably won't happen there is an annual event in the same spirit.
Ford, if you believe your C-Max can stand up to a 3 year old Prius then encourage an owner or send a car to the 21st Century Automotive Challenge hosted by Dr. Joel Anstrom ([email protected]) at Penn State May 17-19, 2013.
The competition starts with two rally courses through the mountains north & south of State College. The second day is filled with running local errands and displaying the vehicle at their Morningstar solar & wind powered home. The autocross fills the third & final day.
The competition is open to all vehicles regardless of fuel. Most of the entries are EV conversions but production EVs, hybrids, and biodiesels have also participated.
Info about prior events can be found at Eastern Electric Vehicle Club Website
