I guess it didn't take that long, but you know how when you want something, the waiting is like dog years? Anyways, I've been looking for a used Prii (oooh, very exciting to call it that for the first time) w/ HOV carpool stickers (I'm in CA), NAV and leather.

I saw a black 2006, 20k miles, all the above, asking $28k, which he was pretty much going to get. I know b/c I called him saying I was only willing to pay $26k and to call me if his other prospective buyers didn't pan out. He didn't call me back.

Good thing I waited...I just test drove one today: white 2005, 40k miles, all the features I want, including leather which were dealer installed, PLUS premium wheels! And the best part: $23k. Nothing wrong with it, the seller is this business guy who has enough money and apparently doesn't know much/care about his Prii, just wants to sell it. He probably could have gotten at least another $1k for it (KKB lists it at $20,500).

Anyhow, I just wanted to share, and hopefully, when I post next week, I will be the proud owner of a new used Prius! I'll be sure to post pics.

Cannot have a used Prii. Prii is plural. ( It is also technically incorrect, but around here it counts as established usage. )

Welcome, enjoy your new ride, and send a picture with great scenic background when you get it.

My 2005 has 80,000 miles on it and I still owe $19,000 on it. I guess I'll have to keep it till it dies. Hey , I can drive my wife's 2006 because it only has 23,000 miles on it.

Treat your Prius right and it will treat you well. ;)

Sounds like the '05's were made with good quality.
