Free Leather and Wood 2010 Gen III Steering Wheel.

The wood part was not up to our –20 degree Maine winter… note cracks in pictures.

You pay for shipping and it's yours to repair, re-cover, or use as-is… it's a helluva-lot-better than the level II original, IMO.

$20 to my PayPal account and it's on its way…

If shipping is less, I'll refund the difference. If more, hopefully you'll reimburse.

(P.S. Replaced with wife-brought-back-from-Tokyo JDM OEM all leather.)

Are the cracks just superficial or does the wheel feel unstable in any way?
If it's just aesthetic, I'll take it.

Ooops… I should have said that… no, the wood doesn't move on the core… but to me the cracks were just disconcerting… and she was visiting her parents :)

    Wot you saying?

"Buyer" paid $14.89 for 2-day, USPS Priority shipping.

Hopefully win-win-win… my time and effort posting on priuschat, packing it up, taking it to the Post… easily an hour…. is worth the wife not seeing it in the den…. and hopefully it will be worth more than $14.89 to the "buyer."

I win, wife wins, "buyer" wins. Not-to-mention that I avoid the guilt of just tossing it in the trash.

Don't read in between the lines, there's nothing there to read. A definite win win for both parties

Indeed. Total win win for all parties. Glad I decided to check the sale page when I did.

Thanks for the warning on Maine winters killing wood steering wheels.

Those cracks look (to me) like cracks in the finish, not the wood itself.
